Grade 3 Curriculum (Ages 8–9)
Grade Three deepens and broadens word knowledge — building on previous learning in phonics, spelling, and word structure, and applying it to the sophisticated academic vocabulary students meet across the curriculum. Students gain an understanding of multiple word meanings and a greater interest in words and language.
